Area induction training

Before you can use UQ Innovate, you must first conduct the compulsory online area induction training required for using the space.

Access to the space is prohibited to anyone who hasn’t undertaken the training. The training is conducted online, please read through all the area induction documents and complete all of the required capabilities.

• Step 1: Visit UQ Innovate area induction online.
• Step 2: Click on each of the Required documents, download, read, and acknowledge that you have read the document.
• Step 3: Click on each of the Required capabilities training and complete.

Once you've completed training, you will become a 'Maker' and you will gain access to the workshops in UQ Innovate. You'll also be assigned a Maker profile on your staff/ student ID. This is how UQ Innovate staff will know what training you've completed while you are a Maker.

Note: It may take up to 24 hours to display on your account you've completed the area induction training.
